business sponsors and donors

Thank you to our amazing supporters!

The unique role of a community foundation is the ability to create public/private partnerships that bring different entities together for a common vision. The Centralia Community Foundation relies on privately donated money and grants to fund the important initiatives it will tackle in our community. Our city taxes and levies are not enough to cover what needs to be accomplished in order for Centralia to flourish. Over the past year, we have successfully established partnerships and have begun the work of creating positive change in our community. To date, the foundation has been fortunate to receive over $2.3 million dollars toward our efforts. For continued success, we will need financial support from many. We thank our business sponsors and donors below for their generous support.

“Title Guaranty of Lewis County started in 1959 to bring better service to the legal, financial and real estate areas of our local economy. I was involved in its operation for more than 50 years. The Thompson family is now represented by Elizabeth and Bob Jr.. We have always tried to be generous in our support of our community. If you want to have a vibrant business and a healthy place to raise your kids, then you must support the community. I know the work that the Centralia Community Foundation is doing is essential to having both of those things. Giving to community foundations that support education and career training is a proven path to success. It happens in countless communities across the country. It takes business leaders to support education in order to encourage other businesses to want to be here, which leads to better tax revenues, growing housing markets and healthier communities. The Centralia Community Foundation understands this, and we encourage everyone else who can support them to do so.”

Security State Bank

“As the local community bank, it was an easy decision for the Board of Directors at Security State Bank to get behind the efforts of the Centralia Community Foundation.  The Foundation’s top priority of improving the quality of education for our students will ultimately strengthen the future of our community.  We encourage other businesses and individuals to join us in supporting the Centralia Community Foundation by getting involved and/or providing financial support.”

“We have lived here for over 50 years and we have always appreciated this generous and supportive community. The fact that Centralia Community Foundation is focused on providing support to enhance education in Centralia is invaluable. It is essential to have good career programs and quality education to lead us forward. We believe the Foundation will help us grow and become a better community.”

“We believe it is so important to help the Centralia Community Foundation with the great things they can do for our community. They have created real partnerships with the Centralia School District, Centralia College, the local business leadership, philanthropists, and our community. We are all going to benefit from education enhancements, and we want to get involved in supporting the leadership, vision, and dedication of this organization. If we all get involved we can make great things happen in Centralia.”

“The Centralia Community Foundation received a fantastic start from TransAlta Centralia Coal Transition Funding to jumpstart an initiative that promises to reshape the course of education in the Hub City. They, like the Chehalis Foundation, are going to tackle everything that our taxes cannot support, so this is why we want everyone to know about them. Now is the time to contribute to the effort of creating better outcomes for students in the Centralia School District. Support the Centralia Community Foundation by getting involved or making a contribution. The more people who join in and support the Centralia Community Foundation, the greater the final destination will be.”
