All aboard the Centralia Community Foundation!
On Thursday, January 31, we welcomed our major donors, sponsors, and partners to share in an Open House celebration of our new offices. It was well attended by 140 supporters who came together to celebrate and tour our permanent office space in the historic Centralia Train Station. We welcomed TransAlta, Title Guaranty, Security State Bank, Tin Men Supply, The Chronicle, the Centralia School Board, Centralia Schools and Administration, the City of Centralia, the Chehalis Foundation, and many more. And a special thank you goes out to Dick’s Brewing and NW Deli and Sausage for providing the evening’s refreshments.
We are thrilled to occupy the second floor and now have working space for board and committee meetings, as well as administrative duties. Our intention is to host as many awareness and development events and invite groups such as financial and estate planners, local business leaders, key Centralia supporters and alumni, and all Lewis County media. We will focus on developing the next level of comprehensive partnerships with other entities that we believe will help us complete our mission as well as help them with theirs. We can’t do it alone. We believe that when more people are aware of what we do and how they can help, we will more quickly create the changes we want to see in our community. Together, we will continue to strengthen Centralia.

The Centralia Community Foundation is making progress. We are meeting important milestones with our Schools of Excellence Initiative and we are gaining momentum. We want to grow our email list and reach more people with updates about our activities. Good things are happening and we are off to a nice start with community donations and support!
