Dear Friend of Centralia,
We certainly will never forget this year. I am personally thankful to be living in such a generous community. It is amazing to see how many people are helping those who are suffering due to the pandemic. I am also very impressed with our dedicated Centralia School District staff and teachers who are handling the challenges with remote schooling all while dealing with crippling budget cuts due to a failed levy.
We all want to see our community moving forward so it can grow, prosper, and benefit from a vibrant economy. We love Centralia and want it to be a great place for our children and grandchildren to experience wonderful opportunities that many of us have experienced. At the foundation, we believe in that vision and now more than before it is essential that we invest in education and career opportunities for Centralia students.
The funding we provide is carefully evaluated and debated among our board. Decisions to invest are based on research data and metrics. Our initiatives are making progress despite the current challenges.
When you donate to the Centralia Community Foundation, you are directly funding the education and career pathways initiatives that are not supported by taxes or levies.
